Who We Are
We’re a small, independent team that builds adaptive NREMT Paramedic practice, because the cognitive exam is computer-adaptive and almost nobody preps for it that way. A static question dump hands you the same fixed pile everyone else memorizes; the real test tunes each question to how you’re actually doing. Those are not the same skill, and prepping the first one for the second is why capable candidates get surprised on test day.
We won’t pretend to be your instructor, and you won’t find invented credentials or stock-photo “experts” on this site. What we are is a group of people who got tired of watching good paramedics over-study the wrong things — re-reading every protocol front to back — and walk in unready for how the CAT decides you’re competent. So we built the practice we wished existed.
Our Approach: Practice the Exam, Not a Pile of Cards
Our approach starts from one unfashionable claim: on an adaptive exam, doing more questions is not the same as getting better. The registry’s cognitive test isn’t a volume contest — it raises and lowers difficulty to find your true level, then stops when it’s confident. Grinding a thousand random items teaches you that list of items, not the moving target the exam actually is.
So we build differently. Every question in our bank is a real Paramedic-level item with the rationale attached, and the practice engine shifts difficulty up or down as you answer — the way the live CAT does. The rationale is the point: it’s where a missed question turns into something you’ll get right next time. An answer key alone teaches nothing.
How We Keep This Honest and Current
A prep site earns trust by what it refuses to make up. Here is how we keep the guidance on this site straight.
We don’t publish volatile numbers
Exam fees, the number of questions you’ll see, pass rates, and retake rules all change, and a stale number does more harm than no number. When a figure is policy that moves, we point you to nremt.org instead of freezing a guess into a page.
We tell you when our product doesn’t fit
Our question bank preps the cognitive (CAT) exam only. The psychomotor skills exam is a separate component we don’t drill — and we say so plainly rather than letting you assume otherwise, because sending you to prep the wrong exam would be the worst thing we could do.
We fix what’s wrong when you flag it
If a rationale is unclear or a fact has drifted out of date, we’d rather hear it and correct it than defend it. That’s what the contact page is for.
